'Re-affirmations', is a collection of synthesizer and sample arrangements. It comes from a desire to musically describe the disparate pool of affects that come from everyday life. These affects are 'hidden' sometimes in the subtext of dance and pop music. They are associated with precarity, yearning and ambivalence. This is the residual taste left over from pop music and the starting point for a response. The album guides you through a sequence of ruptures: Aberrant dub rhythms, dramatic pop remixes and sentimental melodies.
